Sahel machines will let Ajman motorists breathe easy.
Ajman: New payment machines named Sahel (Easy) will enable motorists in Ajman to pay fines, and renew driving licences and vehicle registration in a matter of minutes. The new aACAye-service' launched by Ajman Traffic Police will also let motorists obtain a replacement of damaged or lost driving licences.
The Ministry of Interior has provided two Sahel machines to the Ajman Traffic Police Department.
Motorists can also use these machines to renew vehicle registration after completing procedures such as the vehicle test and insurance.
The introduction of these machines is expected to reduce the rush at the Ajman Traffic Department. Using the machines is simple: Motorists need to enter ID details and the machine checks for fines. For renewal of vehicle registration, the machines check if the vehicle test and insurance are completed. If all is in order, the new vehicle registration pops out.
