VT iDirect, Inc. (iDirect), a company of VT Systems Inc, on Oct. 28
said that SIMS Group, a satellite network operator in Colombia with a
teleport in Miami, has launched an iDirect-based DVB-S2 broadband
satellite service, designed to deliver bandwidth efficiency gains to
organizations throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and the U.S. The
service was to be launched in conjunction with the Andicom
Telecommunications Congress in Cartagena, Colombia October 28-30, 2009.
