Doc testifies in Aarushi case on skull fracture.

DEPOSING before the special CBI court for the third consecutive day in the rushi case, Dr R. K. Sharma, former head of forensic sciences department at AIIMS, said that if a person lying on bed is hit on his skull with a golf stick from behind, depressed fracture or cracked wound would be inflicted.

" This type of fracture depends on the force. I have not seen the deceased's wounds and injuries in this case. I have also not seen the golf stick related to the case before coming to this court," Dr Sharma said.

On June 25, Dr Sharma had told the court that depressed fracture was not mentioned in rushi and Hemraj's postmortem report.

Dr Sharma said that if a golf stick is hit lightly, depressed fracture will not be inflicted.

" I am saying on the basis of literature attached to my probe report that golf stick causes depressed fracture. If a person has a golf stick and wants to attack with it, he can injure him. Golf stick can be used to harm anyone," he added.
