In recent memory, no one has had more fun promoting a movie than Timothée Chalamet has had promoting A Complete Unknown. He showed off a shocking amount of college-football knowledge; he cosplayed as 2003 Bob Dylan; he had the time of his life doing his Nardwuar interview. And he’s done all of that while refusing to shave his little mustache. Did you think this was going to die down just because the movie has been out in America for three weeks? Baby, he hasn’t even started on the international markets.

To kick off the latest leg of his press tour, Chalamet arrived on the red carpet for the movie’s London premiere in style. By that, I mean he rode a Lime bike directly onto the carpet.

Ecofriendly king? Or sponsored content from Lime? Either way, this is a really funny thing to do, and he knows it. The performance of him taking his phone out to end the ride juxtaposed with the reality of him being unable to get the kickstand down. That’s art.

Thank you, Timmy, for bringing back publicity stunts. Next up? In a couple weeks, Chalamet will be the host and musical guest on SNL. Will he be singing Bob Dylan songs? One of his original compositions? Since I’m now enamored with his every move, I’ll be watching either way.
