When learning Tableau, I understood the concepts easily in theory but found it hard to apply to actual visualizations. This led me to start publishing dashboards on Tableau Public to gain the required experience and practice the newly learnt concepts. I realized that I need to research Tableau concepts in more depth hence I started writing articles on my Medium blog. I choose the topics to write about based on what I was unable to find sufficient documentation for during my Tableau learning journey. On Linkedin, I started sharing content via PDF documents that were targeted at newbies. Over time, I shifted to sharing short posts to grab the attention with the inclusion of images to help reinforce new concepts.

Hello Datafam! Very happy and excited to come back. I've been working in Finance area for long time, and in analysis role using Tableau since 2015. There Tableau has changed my career and life - making many break-thorough in day-to-day work (and still happen), then I have got a couple of viz contest awards - company internal, held by governmental org. etc. As an Ambassador, I do try sharing my experience and thoughts - how much we can benefit from Tableau, even not perfectly skilled. And just quick, simple, casual use of Tableau is good enough to change the game. Let's make more value from your data, and impact to the world!
