The Los Angeles Dodgers are the 2024 MLB Champions!

It all came down to the 2024 MLB World Series, where the New York Yankees clashed with the Dodgers starting Friday, October 25 in an instant classic showdown between the two very best teams in Major League Baseball.

The Yankees handled the Cleveland Guardians in just five games of the ALCS, while the Dodgers finished the New York Mets in six. That set up what looked to be close matchup between these two storied teams. But ultimately, the Shohei Ohtani- and Mookie Betts-led Dodgers had momentum on offense, while Aaron Judge, Juan Soto and the Yankees petered out.

New York put on one decent show in an 11-4 blowout win to keep the series alive in Game 4. Then they tried to do what has never been done before in MLB history, and force a Game 6 from a 3-0 deficit. It did not work out the way the Yankees wanted, and instead they blew a 5-0 lead in embarrassing fashion to end the series on a 7-6 heartbreaker loss.

Check the guide for a recap of the 2024 MLB postseason, from the Wild Card round through the World Series, and find scores, schedules and more information below.
