10 Dec 2024 Statistics Finland will make changes to statistics production in 2025

Statistics Finland has decided to cut down statistics production because of central government savings. Statistics Finland will discontinue four sets of statistics and reduce the production of 12 statistics. Further analysis is ongoing concerning two sets of statistics. The changes will enter into force during 2025.

29 Nov 2024 Statistics Finland postpones price increases of the Research Services

At the beginning of October, Statistics Finland notified that there would be increases to the prices of the Research Services starting from the beginning of 2025. We said then that the prices of the Research Services would be risen to cover the costs of producing the service. The decision to review the prices of the Research Services will be postponed to spring 2025.
