SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT • JDK 1.7 or above • Operating system: 32/64 bit HARDWARE REQUIREMENT • RAM: 4GB and above • Monitor: 18” wide or above • Processor: 4 core and 3.2GHz above JDK INSTALLATION • Download JDK from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8- downloads-2133151.html PREREQUISITE
- 3. 1.Double click the downloaded setup file. Click next WINDOWS
- 4. 2.Select files to be installed and click Next button
- 6. 4.Check java version by typing java –version in command prompt and hit enter.
- 7. 5.After Successfully Installation of java you can see directory like: C:Programfilesjavajdk1.8.0_112bin
- 8. 6.Set Path in your system to run java program by copying the address above and right click on computer and click on properties and take advanced settings.
- 9. 7.Select Advanced Option on top and click on environment variable button.
- 10. 8.After clicking on Environment Variables a pop up will open where you have to click on new button.
- 11. 9.After click on new button a pop up will open where you have to fill variable name: path Variable value: C:Programfilesjavajdk1.8.0_73bin
- 12. 10.Now to run java program a) Open cmd write cd desktop. b) And for compilation write javac hello.java c) For Output write java hello
- 13. 11.You can also write java in netbeans. Download Netbeans from http://www.netbeans.org
- 14. 12.For creating a project choose file New project to display the New Project box
- 15. 13.Select Java in the Categories section and Java Application in the Projects section and click Next to display the New Java Application dialog box. Select Java in the Categories section and Java Application in the Projects section and click Next to display the New Java Application dialog box. Click Finish to create the project.
- 16. 1.Download suitable file from above said download link and execute it or use wget command for downloading required files.
