Case Study
Julie has been at her current job for two years and works 50 or more hours a week (she rarely takes her lunch break.) Her company gives her two weeks of vacation each year, but she has only taken 5 days off since she started working for them. She recently started taking classes Monday nights and Saturday mornings at a local college and plans to earn her Masters degree in 2 years. She is single, but has been dating Rob for about a year, although they only see each other a few days a week because of their busy schedules.

She has a regular Tuesday night dinner date once a week with 3 girlfriends; she feels guilty if she misses it, so she always goes. Julies sister and brother-in-law live nearby, and she baby-sits their 5-year old daughter every Wednesday night. In the evenings, she spends a lot of time on the phone talking to her parents and out-of-town friends. Her weekend days are usually filled with household chores and errands that she doesnt have time for during the week.
