from the central government as per Rule 10 of the Forest
(Conservation) Rules 2022.
 Prescribes a manual for the preparation of the working plan
 Continuous forest inventory and use national data base for the
storage of data on forest inventory collected by the SFD’s.
 Consultation with the local stakeholders, by involving local
civil society organization, PRIs, representatives of wood based
industries, academic & research institutions, to seek their inputs
on the management of forests especially in setting up of the
objectives of management.
