The procedure for seeking the approval of the working plan
from the central government as per Rule 10 of the Forest
(Conservation) Rules 2022.
Prescribes a manual for the preparation of the working plan
Continuous forest inventory and use national data base for the
storage of data on forest inventory collected by the SFD’s.
Consultation with the local stakeholders, by involving local
civil society organization, PRIs, representatives of wood based
industries, academic & research institutions, to seek their inputs
on the management of forests especially in setting up of the
objectives of management.
