A computer keyboard is an input device that


allows a person to enter letters, numbers, and
other symbols into a computer.
SCANNER
A scanner is an input device that
scans documents such as
photographs and pages of text.
When a document is scanned, it is
converted into a digital format. This
creates an electronic version of the
document that can be viewed and
edited on a computer.
JOYSTICK

A joystick is an input device


commonly used to play video
games. Joysticks consist of a
base and a stick that can be
moved in any direction.
Mouse
Mouse is an input pointing
device used to point and
select items on the screen.
It is also used for aging
games and drawing
pictures.
MICROPHONE

A microphone is an input
device as it records your voice
and sends it into a computer.
OUTPUT DEVICES
Monitor
A monitor is an output
device that displays the
results on the screen. The
information that is displayed
on screen is also called a
soft copy. Monitors often
look similar to televisions.
Printer
A printer is an output device
that prints the result or
output on the paper. This
includes text documents,
images, or both.
Speakers
Speakers are output devices used
with computer systems. Speakers
are used to produce audio output
that can be heard by the listener.

storage device fitted inside
a computer that can store
large amount of data.
PEN DRIVE
Pen drive is a small
storage device used to
store data. It is used to
transfer data from one
computer to another.
PROCESSING

unit (CPU) is also called the
brain of the computer. It
controls functioning of all other
parts of computer.
The actual processing happen
within this unit.
