Parallelism
Parallelism is also called parallel structure or parallel construction. It is the
repetition of the same grammatical form in two or more parts of a sentences.
Example:
(Not Parallel) I like to jog, bake, paint, and watching movies.
(Parallel) I Like to jog, bake, paint, and watch movies.
Parallel Structure in Series…
Parallel Structure in Series consisted of Parallel words, phrase and clauses.
1. Parallel Words
Example:
(Not Parallel) The company is looking for a candidate who is friendly, organized,
and is going to arrive to work on time.

under the big tree in her backyard, where she and her brother usually spend their
evenings laughing and telling stories.
