INTRODUCTION
This project ingeniously harnesses the emissions expelled by vehicles on roads and transforms them into
a resource for positive environmental impact.
At the heart of our innovation lies the Smoke Absorber.
Equipped with state-of-the-art IR Sensor modules.
Triggered by the IR Sensor's signal, the relay mechanism activates.
As vehicles traverse the road, their emissions are swiftly captured and drawn into the Smoke
Absorber's chamber.
Here, the pollutants are contained and channeled towards a secondary absorber unit.
The filters are meticulously designed and implemented.
Notably, our pollution mitigation system operates with optimal efficiency and minimal energy
consumption.
By employing intelligent sensor technology, it remains dormant until a vehicle's presence activates it,
ensuring that energy resources are utilized sparingly and effectively.
The captured pollutants, now securely confined within the carbon filters, undergo a transformative
process.
These pollutants are converted into a valuable resource: Ink.
This ink, derived from the very emissions that once polluted our atmosphere, symbolizes our
project's commitment to sustainability and resourcefulness.
Furthermore, our project exemplifies a symbiotic relationship between transportation infrastructure and
environmental preservation.
By seamlessly integrating pollution mitigation mechanisms into the fabric of our roads, we pave the
way for a cleaner, healthier future.
This process not only helps reduce carbon emissions but also supports the shift toward more
sustainable industrial practices.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
"How can we develop and implement a cost-effective and efficient technology to capture carbon
emissions from vehicle exhaust systems and transform the collected particulate matter into usable ink,
thereby reducing air pollution and promoting sustainability?”
OBJECTIVE
1. To convert the emission into useable ink.
2. To reduce the Air Pollution:- Due to vehicle emissions, the Air Pollution is increasing Day by-day.
According to 2019 reports, there are 27% of Air Pollution is came from vehicles emission. From this
method, we can reduce the Air Pollution gradually.
3. To reduce the use of fossil fuels to make a ink:- Nowadays, ink is made up of Fossil fuels and
chemicals. According to this method, we can conserve the Fossil fuels.
4. To make the low ink cost of ink:- Nowadays, the ink is made up through various of processes and
our intention is to make ink from easily and sold it into low cost.
METHODOLOGY
This basic working principle outlines the key steps involved in the operation of the pollution mitigation
system, emphasizing its efficiency, effectiveness, and environmental impact.
EXPERIMENTAL RESULT
Here all the components required for the project are analyzed properly and connected accordingly
to get the required output of the system.
A Smoke Absorber strategically placed along
roads equipped with an IR Sensor module.
Whenever a vehicle, be it a truck or any other,
passes by, the IR Sensor detects its presence,
triggering the activation of the Smoke Absorber.
This device then draws in the pollutants emitted
by the vehicle, effectively cleaning the air.
The captured pollution is directed to a series of
Carbon Filters, where it is collected and stored.
These filters are designed to trap the pollutants
while allowing clean air to pass through.
Once the filters accumulate a sufficient amount
of pollution, the collected residue undergoes a
transformation process.
We convert this pollutant material into ink,
utilizing a chemical process that renders it
suitable for use.
APPLICATIONS OF THE SYSTEM
Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) technologies provide innovative ways to reduce CO₂ emissions and
transform them into valuable products. Here are the primary applications of CCU technologies across
various industries:
1. Printing and Packaging
2. 3D Printing
3. Graphene Inks
4. Art and Design
5. Stationery Products
6. Energy Storage
7. Fuels and Energy
8. Chemicals and Industrial Products
9. Construction Materials
10. Advanced Materials
