Simplex Method - Part 2

The document presents the application of the Simplex Method to solve linear programming problems, specifically maximizing objective functions under given constraints. It details the iterative process of finding optimal solutions for two different problems, leading to maximum values of Z. The final results indicate maximum Z values of 147.5 and 2150 for the respective problems.

1.Use Simplex Method
Maximum Z = 3x1 + 4x2
Subject to condition
4x1 + 2x2 ≤ 80

Subject to condition
4x1 + 2x2 + s1 + 0s2 = 80
2x1 + 5x2 + 0s1 + s2 = 180 and x1 , x2 , s1 , s2 ≥ 0 .
