INTRODUCTION

 Artifi cial Intelligence (AI) refers to the ability of


machines to perform tasks that typically require human
intelligence.
 These tasks include problem-solving, learning from data,
decision-making, pattern recognition, and automation.
 In civil engineering, AI enhances traditional methods by
integrating advanced algorithms and computational
models to improve effi ciency, accuracy, and safety.

HISTORY OF NATURAL FIBERS

1. Pre-1990s Civil engineering was based on fundamental


physics and empirical formulas.

2. 1990s – 2000s Introduction of CAD and GIS improved


planning and mapping accuracy.

3. 2010s BIM and automation tools enhanced design and


construction effi ciency.

4. 2020s – Present AI is being widely adopted for real-


time monitoring, predictive analytics, and autonomous
