PURPOSE OF THE MODULE

The purpose of having a WIL module in a qualification is to bring together all

the knowledge and skills gained into one consolidated project thereby
enabling you, the student, to integrate what you have learnt in several
modules and demonstrate that you are able to apply it to solve a workplace
type problem.
PRESCRIBED RESOURCES

There are no prescribed resources for this module.

You will need to use previous knowledge gained in
other modules to successfully complete the WIL
Project
So what is required from the WIL
module?
 Throughout the semester you will be required (in groups) to come up with a Business Plan on how to make Monash *BETTER*

 The term BETTER can be interpreted as YOU/ YOUR GROUP wishes – HOWEVER beware that the Business will affect all stakeholders at

the University (i.e. NOT only students will be affected)

 The Group will be required to meet with me on a WEEKLY basis to discuss progressions. The Business Plan needs to be realistic and

CURRENT.

 A UNDESIRABLE option = nightclub versus A DESIRABLE option = restaurant

the Business Plan.
