Soil Moisture sensor

The soil moisture


sensor collects the
data about the
moisture levels of the
soil constantly and
sends the data to the
Arduino UNO.

Arduino UNO

The Arduino UNO


analyses the data
given by the soil
moisture sensor and
sends commands to
the relay module
accordingly.

Relay Module

The Relay Module


receives the command
from the Arduino UNO
and opens and closes
the energy supply to
the water pump
accordingly.

Water Pump and Batteries

The water pump


waters the plant
accordingly whenever
needed. The batteries
power the whole
system.

BENEFITS
It prevents overwatering and underwatering, both detrimental to plant health.
It conserves water by delivering it precisely when needed
It works even in odd hours to ensure the well being of the plant.
