A data logger is an electronic device that records data over time or location using built-in or external sensors. Key components include a DS3231 RTC, Micro SD card module, and Arduino UNO, with a working principle involving data acquisition, signal conditioning, and data storage. Future developments may incorporate EEPROM for data retention and GSM technology for SMS notifications.

What is a Data Logger?
• A data logger (also data recorder) is an electronic
device that records data over time or about
location either with a built-in instrument or sensor
or via external instruments and sensors.
Increasingly, but not entirely, they are based on a
digital processor (or computer), and called digital
data loggers (DDL).

FUTURE
SCOPE
Future work will based on the EEPROM. Though the
power supply is off then all data will be save in EEPROM
chip and when power supply is on it will displayed on
LCD. The project can also work upon GSM technology,
where the information will be send to user via SMS.
