Functional English:
• words perform various
function in a sentence.The
study of these function is
called function english
Word:
• The combination of latters that have
understandable meaning is called word.
For
example:
Raining,walking,swimming etc.
Types of words:

4:Pronoun 5:Adverb
6:Interjection
7:Preposition 8:Conjection
Sentence:
• is a group of words that are
put together to mean
something. A sentence is the
basic unit of language which
expresses a complete
thought.
Kind Of Sentence:
• There are four kinds of
sentences
1:Assertive or Declarative.
2:Interrogative.
3:Imparative.
4:Exclamatory.
Declarative----Direct
Question:
is a sentence

fact. Such
sentences are
simple

They state,

The four main parts of
a sentence are: 3:Clause.
4:Phrase.
Subject:
The subject of a sentence is the noun---or
word group acting as a noun---that
performs the action expressed in the
predicate of a sentence or clause. The
subject may be one word or the subject
may be in a noun phrase.
For example:
1:Seeing the parade was excited
2:The black and white dog was barking
fiercely at the stranger. 3:Ali loves chocolate.
Predicate:
The part of the sentences that is not the
subject and its modifiers is the predicate.
A predicate can be one word or several
words, not all of which are verbs. The
principal part of the predicate is the verb.
For example:
3:The dog
2:The dog sniffed,
1:The dog
has been looked
sniffed.
sniffing. around, and
growled.
Sentence Stucture:
• Sentence structure is the way a sentence is
arranged, grammatically.It depends on the
language in which you're writing or speaking.
Infinitive(to
form): is
a part of stucture.if we add TO then this is called
infinitive.
Here are five stucture of infinitive:
1:subject+helping verb+to+vist+object
I went market to buy groceries.
I want to cook dinner for my
parents. I bought paint to
finish the picture of my father.
2:subject+helping
verb+too+vist+adjective+vist+object.
I
am too tired to walk any further.
I am too busy to go with you.
3:subject+helping verb+adjective+enough+
to+vist+objective.
