1T2R RRU – ZXSDR R8861

R8861 9.9L and 12 kg

The R8861 is currently the industry's smallest
1T2R
module of its kind: 9.9L in volume and 12 kg in
weight. 60W (output power)
The compact design makes the R8861 easy to Support one 20M LTE carrier
transport and install on the wall or telecom tower,
Support cabinet sharing and transmit
with the load requirements on the wall or tower
much lowered. diversity

By changing the structure of the module design and using new materials, the efficiency of the power amplifier of the R8861 is higher than the existing SDR
products and the power consumption is further lowered. The low power consumption not only reduces the electricity consumption for network operation, but
also reduces the costs on battery and other power supply auxiliary products.

The R8861 module is more lightweight, with clear and concise external interfaces for fast and easy installation.
That is, 5 minutes could suffice for its installation, thus the much improved feature of ease-of-use.

Rules of Configuring the BBU Modules
Modul Qty. Description
e
name
PM 1 Required. BBU power supply module. It is PM3 when there are 1-2 BPLs; PM4 when there are 3
BPLs.
SA 1 Required. Site alarm module, supporting 8 dry contacts (6 outputs, 2 channels bi-directional),
supporting one expanded RS485/RS232 interface, supporting the fan monitoring.
CC 1-2 Required. Control and clock module, providing 10M/100M/1000M adaptive Ethernet electrical port or
a 1000M Ethernet optical port.
BPL 1-3 Required. LTE baseband processing board, each providing 3 pairs of RRU optical interface. It is
recommended to configure this board on no more than 3 BPL boards per BBU.
FS 0-2 Optional, fiber-optic switching board, each supporting up to 6 RRU optical ports for expanding the
optical port of the BPL.
UES 0 Optional, universal Ethernet converter board. Multiple base stations share the transmission or
expansion transmission interface.
SFP 1-18 Required. Optical module for BBU-RRU connection. The quantity depends on both the number of
RRUs and the RF networking mode.
1. Star-shaped network: Quantity of SFP modules is equal to that of RRUs
2. Chain-shaped network: Quantity of SFP modules is equal to that of RF chains
3. Hybrid networking: Quantity of SFP modules = quantity of RRUs in star-shaped networking +
quantity of RRU RFs in chain-shaped networking

SFP(1.2 0-1 When the S1 interface uses the GE optical port for physical connection, one SFP for each CC.
5G) The specific model of the optical module depends on the transmission length or actual attenuation of
a single light beam.
