3rd- grade Reading 7:50-8:50

Story- What Should Danny Do?

Read the Story- What Should Danny School Day?
As you read, students will have the chance to
make choices of what the main character, Danny,
should do. There is a guide for the symbols in the
very beginning of the book.
When you come to a choice, read both choices to
the students and have them raise their hand to
determine which choice to make.
There are 8 possible endings, try to reach all 8.

When done, reading, pass out the Cape

Worksheet.
Since Danny has superpower and has a cape,
students are going to design their own. On the
cape, students are to write what their superpower
is. (You can brainstorm a list of superpowers as a
whole group) and then draw/decorate the cape.
Please collect when done.

If extra time & students have iPads, they can go on

Lexia, Starfall, or other educational site.
