1
Introduction

● Prosthetic arms restore the function and appearance of

missing limbs.

● Robotic arms mimic human arm functionality using advanced

programming.

● Artificial limbs address limb loss from diseases or accidents

2
Problem Statement & Objectives
Problem statement :

● Difficulty in replicating natural hand movements

● Limited functionality and precision

Objectives :

● Develop intuitive control systems

● Enhance precision and dexterity to mimic natural hand functions.
● Integrate advanced sensors for real-time feedback
● Improve user comfort and ease of operation

3
Literature Review

● An approach was introduced to develop a communication interface between a six-

degree-of-freedom robotic arm and a leap motion controller by Zubrycki and G.
Granosik .
● A Study was conducted by Hani Al-Mimi, Ali Al-Dahoud, Mohamed FEZARI, and
Mohammad Sh on the New Arduino NANO Board for WSN and IoT. Daoud Arduino
has expanded its family of tiny Nano boards with new offerings that promise better
specs at a lower price.
● The Arduino Nano is a small, complete, and breadboard-friendly board based on the
ATmega328 (Arduino Nano 3.0) or ATmega168 (Arduino Nano 2.x), published by
ManTech.co.za.
4
Methodology

● Control is facilitated through electromyography (EMG), which captures the electrical signals
produced by muscle activity via an EMG sensor.
