Level I This course is designed to
enhance the knowledge, skills,
positive attitude and work values
of the learner in accordance with
the prevailing standards in the
Technical -Vocational Education
and Training (TVET) sector.

required of a Technical-Vocational
Trainer to perform the tasks in the
areas of instructional delivery /
facilitation, competency assessment,
and maintenance of training
resources / facilities.

TESDA Board Resolution No. 2004-03
approved the Adoption of Philippine TVET
Trainer’s Qualification Framework (PTTQF) on
February 5, 2004
TESDA Board Resolution No. 2010-16
approved and promulgated the Training
Regulations (TRs) for Trainers Qualification
Level I (TQ I) and Trainers Qualification Level II
(TQ II) on November 25, 2010 & December 12,
2010, respectively
Background
Philippine TVET Trainers/Assessors Qualification
Framework (PTTQF) was approved by the Social
Development Committee of NEDA last March 25,
2011
TESDA Board Resolution No. 2011-08 approved
and promulgated the RETITLING of TQ I and TQ II to
Trainers Methodology Level I (TM I) and Trainers
Methodology Level II (TM II), respectively, on May
25, 2011. However, the contents and substance of
the said TRs remain the same
