THE PURPOSE OF BUSINESS CORRESPONDENCE.
A business correspondence is a letter used for communication in a business. The
correspondence may be for contacting clients or for making contact with
employees to relate information regarding the day to day activities of the
business.
The Importance of Business Correspondence
A business correspondence helps to maintain good relationship between
business clients as well as with persons inside the business. It helps to prove
as evidence to contact has been made with an individual or a business. A
business correspondence is cost effective and it helps to give the company a
good image. The attributes helps a business to strive and grow.

Agenda vs Chairman’s Agenda

An agenda is a comprised list of items that are discussed during a


meeting. It is used to guide the meeting. The agenda is maybe included with
the notice sent to all members which enable them to be prepared to participate
in the discussions. An agenda usually starts with the apologies for absence and
minutes of the last meeting. The agenda usually ends with an item in which
the date and time of the next meeting are set. If no date is set for the next
meeting it is said to be adjourned.

• Telephone
Telephones are used in for making contact with clients, customers outside of the business aw well as to make
contact with employees within the business

• Email
An Electronic mail (E-Mail) is a fast, cheap and reliable way of sending a message electronically over the internet.
This message will get to the recipient immediately, once it is sent and once the recipient has internet service.
• Video conferencing
Video conferencing is a technology which allow users to have face to face conversation with another person
without having to meet each other at a physical location.

• Social media
Social media is a online platform that facilitate communication. It aid users in the sharing of
information using the internet.
