Bohemian Rhapsody:
• I believe that the script extract from the film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is a Non-
Linear narrative. This is because there are flashbacks seen in the script. For
e.g. the shift from the performance to Freddy's Funeral.
• I believe that the extract from the film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is from the 3rd
act or the resolution. This is because we are greeted with the death of our
protagonist right from the beginning of the extract.
• I believe that the extract from the film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is a Multi-
Stranded narrative. This is due to us being introduced to two more characters
upon the death of Freddy who is sought to be our protagonist.
The script is Fiction from a
radio show. In the script, there
is a conversation happening on
the radio between Lydia and

Maria.

Radio Script:
- I believe that the script extract from the radio show is a Linear narrative. I
have inferred this, because although there is a moment when Lydia recalls
something from earlier that day, it isn’t enough to be considered as a major
plot change. Therefore, the script is linear as its only moving in one direction.
- I also believe that this script extract from the radio show seems to be Multi-
Stranded. There are multiple topics being presented in the conversations
between both Lydia and Maria. As we have been introduced to two hosts, we
are following both people and not just one solitary protagonist therefore the
script is multi stranded.
- This radio script uses elaborate code, as no prior knowledge is needed to
understand this conversation.

Radio Script 2
- I believe that the script extract from the radio show is a Linear Narrative. In
the script, there are no referrals to the past so therefore the narrative is linear.
The narrative moves in one direction.
- I also believe that the script extract from the radio show seems to be a
Multi-Stranded narrative. This is because there are two hosts having a
conversation, therefore meaning we are following two different people and not
just one primary protagonist.

Dr who script
• I believe that the script extract from Dr Who is written in the Non-linear
narrative. I have inferred this from the way the script seems to cut to
different scenes quite often.
• I also believe that the script is written in a Multi-Stranded style. This is
suggested from the fact that we are introduced to Ryan Sinclair, but then also
to a woman that he admires,
• I believe that the script is from the second act, in reference to the three-act
structure. I believe this because it starts with a confrontation, which is the fact
that Ryan likes the girl.

Television script- news
• I believe that the extract from the television news script, a Non-Fiction
script. This is because the article's goal is to inform the audience on the
consequences of reckless driving.
• the target audience for this article, would be primarily teenagers, but
parents may also acquire interest into reading it. The article is about how to
stay safe when driving, so the appeal would attract teenagers since they
would be at an age where they are close to driving. The parents on the other
hand, would be interested in reading it so they are informed on how to keep
their children safe.
• The script is written in a formal mode of address due to the nature of the
article.
• The use of elaborate code heavily outweighs that of restricted code within
this article. This is because the article is formal, and its focus objective is to
inform its viewers/readers.

Red Dead redemption- Game
script:
• I believe that the script is from the first act in reference to the three-act
structure. This is because we are being introduced to a cowboy who as an
audience, we can only presume is our protagonist.
• I believe that red dead redemption is a single stranded narrative. This is
because we are introduced to the cowboy almost immediately and we follow
his actions closely.
• the game script appears to be written in the linear narrative. This is
because we have not yet been faced with a dilemma, and the story is only
beginning to form.

Tomb raider game script:
- in reference to the three-act structure, I believe that this part of the script is
from the second act of the game. This is because we start with the
protagonist facing a dilemma (the shipwreck). The tension In this scene is high,
as she has also just woken up from being kidnapped.
- I believe that the script is a non-linear style of narrative. Instead of an ease
into the plot and an introduction to characters, we are placed directly into the
middle of an action. This provokes a suggestion that we will go back in time to
discover the character and to establish key plot points.
- I believe that this is a single stranded narrative. This is because we
primarily follow our antagonist Lara croft throughout the narrative.
