Pothole Detection

and Filling System

An Arduino-Based Sensing Model for Road Maintenance
Abstract

 This project focuses on addressing the critical issue of road

maintenance in developing countries by detecting and filling
potholes.
 The proposed system uses an Arduino-based sensing model to detect
potholes and estimate their depths, enabling the automatic discharge
of materials for filling.
 The system also provides manual control via an Android application,
allowing users to operate the model remotely.
 This solution aims to improve road safety, reduce vehicle damage,
and assist authorities in maintaining road infrastructure efficiently.
