Why is communication a process?

The process of communication refers to the

transmission or passage of information or message
from the sender through a selected channel to the
receiver overcoming barriers that affect its pace.
The process of communication is a cyclic one as it
begins with the sender and ends with the sender in
the form of feedback.
What are the important elements of
communication?
In order to better understand the communication process, we can break it
down into a series of eight essential components:
Source
Message
Channel
Receiver
Feedback
Environment
Context
Interference – example noise

How can we achieve an effective communication
with other people?
Effective communication can usually be achieved by sticking to a
few important guidelines:
Establish and maintain eye contact. Eye contact plays a crucial
role in communication. ...
Try to send a clear message. ...
Be receptive to what others say. ...
