town and handles bulk of

3.WAN (WIDE AREA NETWORK)

media such as telephones , cables
and radio waves
4.PAN (PERSONAL AREA NETWORK)

• Same as LAN network , but it is


limited to a specific person or
location such as home network .
This network is usually setup for
sharing resources such as internet
and printer with personal
computers.
