ADVANTAGES OF FUZZY LOGIC SYSTEM
This system can work with any type of inputs whether it is imprecise, distorted or
noisy input information.
The construction of Fuzzy Logic Systems is easy and understandable.
Fuzzy logic comes with mathematical concepts of set theory and the reasoning of
that is quite simple.
It provides a very efficient solution to complex problems in all fields of life as it
resembles human reasoning and decision-making.
The algorithms can be described with little data, so little memory is required
LIMITATIONS OF FUZZY LOGIC SYSTEM
The applications of fuzzy systems are diverse and widespread, ranging from control systems and pattern recognition
to decision-making and robotics (Mamdani, 1974; Takagi & Sugeno, 1985). The benefits of fuzzy systems include
improved accuracy, enhanced robustness, and increased flexibility, making them an attractive solution for many
real-world problems (Yager & Filev, 1994).
As fuzzy systems continue to evolve and mature, we can expect to see even more innovative applications across
various fields. With their unique ability to handle uncertainty and imprecision, fuzzy systems are poised to play an
increasingly important role in shaping the future of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and beyond.
