Descent

TUTORIAL
hi

Noob Inc.
01
The Basics
3
1: The goal
The goal of Descent is to get items, all worth different amounts of
money, and sell them. The money you get with be added towards
your goal, and you can also use that money to buy player
upgrades, such as more lung capacity (more on that later),
elevator upgrades, such as the ability to get a new floor, or buy
items to help you, such as the riot shield. If you die, you will
respawn if your teammates can go back to elevator and change
floors.
4
2: Items
There are many different, all ranging from different rarities and
prices, the most common being Jerrycans ($22) and Crates ($70),
the rarest is the Broken TV ($104). Smaller items (such as the
Jerrycan) can be put inside of one of your inventory slots and will
let you change the slot, but bigger items (such as the Crate) will
not let you change the slot or else you will drop it, it also will slow
you down.
5
3: Levels
There are currently 2 levels in the game, being the Factory and
the Mall. The Factory has a danger level of 2/10, and has the
entities Barnabe, Fische, and Monkeys, it also has the turret
hazard. The Mall, with a danger level of 2.5/10, contains the
entities Barnabe, Fische (rare spawn), Mannequin, and Monkeys, it
also contains turrets and bear traps. Both levels have vents, which
will let you stay safe from some entities,
6
4: Quotas
Quotas are how much money you need to get until the next goal.
The amount of money increases every time you get a new quota.
There are currently 8 quotas in the game.

Entities

Entity #899:
Barnabe
Barnabe is an entity who
can be found on both the
Factory and the Mall, you
can stay safe from him if
you stay out of his path. To
protect yourself, run to the
elevator ASAP, or get into
a vent. You can also use a
riot shield for one-time
protection. If he manages
to attack you, he will do 50
damage (half health), but
in the case of a blackout,

Entity #542:
Fische
Fische is an entity who can
be found on both the
Factory and the Mall (rare
encounter), he can be
noticed when you hear a
“blub-blub” noise. He can
be dodged by going into
the elevator or crouching
and slowly moving to the
side. He will instantly kill
you if hit.
