my Math test grade

If I studied for my Math test, then I got a good grade.

A conditional statement has a truth value of either true(T) or
false (F). For us to know the truth value of the statement we
are going to use the Truth Table. To show that a conditional
statement is false, you need to find only one counterexample
where the hypothesis is true and the conclusion is false.

WRITING A STATEMENT IN AN IF-THEN FORM
To write a statement in an If-then
• Identify the hypothesis and the conclusion from
form;
the statement,
• then write the hypothesis after If and the
conclusion after then.
 Take note that the word If is not part of the
hypothesis and the word then is not part
of the conclusion.
