Key Concepts:
• Files:
• A file is a digital document
containing data (text, images, or
videos).
• Example: A Word document, a music
file, or a photo.
• Folders:
• Folders are like digital containers
used to organize multiple files.
• Example: A "Photos" folder might
contain images from a trip.
- Open a program (e.g., Word). - Double-click on the file's icon or open it
- Type or add content in it. through the program.
- Click "File" > "Save" or press Ctrl+S.
- Choose a location (e.g., Desktop, Documents) and give the file a name.
- Right-click on the file and select "Rename." - Right-click the file and select "Delete," or
- Type a new name and press Enter. press the Delete key.
- You can also use F2 key. - Deleted files usually move to the Recycle
Bin, where they can be restored if needed.
Every file has a type based on its use:

.docx: Word .xlsx: Excel .pdf: Portable Document .jpg/.png: Image files.
