Abstract
 TrashMap is an innovative web-based platform designed to streamline the
reporting and management of waste locations. Utilizing GPS technology,
the system enables users to precisely pinpoint areas with waste, providing
real-time data to optimize waste collection efforts. The platform promotes
active citizen participation through an intuitive interface that allows
individuals to report waste, fostering a cleaner and more sustainable
environment. By enhancing communication between the public and waste
management teams, TrashMap ensures faster response times, improved
collection processes, and the ability to track progress through detailed
reports. This system not only aids in immediate waste management but
also supports long-term environmental sustainability and community
engagement
Problem Definition
 The current way of reporting waste, such as through phone calls or
complaints, is slow and often unreliable. People don’t have an easy way to
tell waste collection teams where the waste is located, and teams struggle
to find the exact spots because there's no clear information. As a result,
waste often stays uncollected for longer than it should. To solve this, we
need a simple online system where anyone can quickly report the location
of waste using GPS, so collection teams can find it easily and respond
faster, leading to cleaner communities.
