Top-level Menus
• Determines the set of functions available to the
responsibility:
– For example, the predefined menus:

HR User Self Service

Contingent Worker Self Service

Responsibility Ownership
• Linked to responsibility in Responsibility window
• Items (functions or submenus) with prompts are
visible to the user in their Self Service menu.

Submenus

• Associate a navigable set of related functions with


a responsibility
• When attached to top menu with a defined prompt,
the items on the submenu are visible to the user

• Create new responsibilities and security profiles if
necessary

Hidden Submenus

• Associate functions with a responsibility without


allowing the user to navigate to them directly
• When attached to top menu without a defined
prompt, the items on the submenu are not visible to
the user
– Example: for functions displayed in Actions pages

Data Security Menus

• SSHR uses data security menus to determine


which functions are global and which are for
specific legislations.
• Global data security grants on these SSHR data
security menus ensure that they are available to all
users regardless of responsibility.
