RECOGNITION SYSTEM
AGENDA
1. Abstract
2. Literature Survey
4. System Architecture
5. Solution Methodology
To solve this problem, this project develops a real-time sign language recognition system. Using
video input, the system will detect hand gestures and convert them into meaningful text.
Additionally, it will generate spoken output to enhance accessibility for non-signers.
Designed as an accessible desktop application, this solution will help sign language users interact
more effectively with non-signers, fostering inclusivity and accessibility in everyday communication.
LITERATURE SURVEY
• Ensures better inclusivity for individuals with hearing and speech impairments.
• Assists students and teachers in learning and teaching ISL through interactive demonstrations and real-time
feedback.
• Helps government offices, hospitals, and customer service centers interact with sign language users without a
human interpreter.
• Focuses on real-time ISL recognition in a desktop environment.
• Aims to bridge the communication gap and foster a more inclusive society.
