DEFINITIONS
Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human
intelligence processes by machines.
The study of computer systems that attempts to the
model and apply the intelligence of the human mind. A
branch of computer science dealing with the intelligence
behaviour in computer.
The capability of a machine to copy, act or work like
intelligent human behaviour.
AGENTS IN AI
In artificial intelligence, Agent is A computer program or
system that is designed to interact and perceive with
environment to make decisions and action to achieve
responsive output.
The main role of the agent is to percept with the
environment and to give action or response. The agents
are classified into two different types (reactive &
proactive).
Auto-drive cars, virtual assistant are the examples
of the agents in artificial intelligence.
HISTORY OF AI
• 1943-50 The concept of (A I) Artificial Intelligence
was started.

• 1956 The word “ artificial intelligence ” first adopted


and coined by JOHN MCCARTHY in Dartmouth
conference. Alan Turing

• 1966 First chatbot was invented named “ ELIZA ”.

• 1974 - 80 Period of FIRST AI WINTER, publicity of


artificial intelligence was decreased.

• 1980 – 87 AI came back with “ Expert Systems ”


and the market of AI was boom up. First National
Conference of the American association of artificial
intelligence was held in Stanford university in 1980. Jhon
McCarthy
• 1990s SECOND AI WINTER Duration Investors and
Government Stopped Funding for AI Research due to
High cost and to have Efficient result.

• 2000 to Present The current Decade has been


immensely important for AI innovations.
 2002 Roomba Autonomous Vacuum Cleaner was
Released.
 2009 Google Secretly developed Self Driving Car
“ Nevada ”.
 2011 Apple Launched own Virtual Assistant
Software. Sophia
 2014 Amazon Alexa or Echo device was in (Humanoid Robot)

invented to control surrounding connected


gadgets by voice.
 2016 “Sophia” the Humanoid Robotics developed
by ‘Hanson Robotics Company’ Hong Kong.
FUTURE OF AI
The rise of Artificial Intelligence will most popular and Boost
up into the coming days. Artificial Intelligence is shaping the
Future of Humanity across nearly every industry.
AI is rapidly transforming the Health Care Industry.
Inventions on Tools and Gadgets for the diagnosis Treatment and
patients care.
Applications of Artificial Intelligence will also widely developed in
Robotics, Drones, Self-driving cars etc.

1. SMART HOME - Technology suit the
appliance that can be independently and
remotely controlled through a common network.
Connecting the devices like Audio Speaker,
Television, Lights, Fan, AC etc to a Network to
control from a Single device – Smart Phone.

2. AUTONOMOUS CAR – A Self-Driving Car is


Vehicle that use a sensors, cameras, radar to
travel between Destination without a Human
Operators. Ex. – Tesla.
3. ChatBot - It is a Computer Program that
Simulates and Processes Human Conversation
either in written or spoken source, allows
humans interact with digital devices in natural
conversation to answer questions, capturing
User Data.

4. VACCUME CLEANER – Cleaner


Contains Sensors & Cameras To detect the
Dust or Waste and work in combination to
clean a room. The Gadget scan the
surrounding, detect (Mapping) the objects
and clean the room Surface.
CONCLUSION
AI can play a main role in every sector. The future is on
Artificial Intelligence. It has improving understanding of Human
Reasoning and the nature of intelligence in general. It providing
new areas and rich challenges for the future.
