Leap Year: A Leap Year is a year that that digits of the year is divisible by 4

eg 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, etc…

However, for century years, the year must also be divisible by 400.

eg 2000, 2400, 2800, … are Leap Years

1900, 2100, 2200, 2300, 2500, … are NOT Leap Years

Remember: A number is divisible by 4 if the number formed by the last


two digits can be divided by 4.
