Introduction
• Chat bot is an artificial intelligence technology, it makes the

conversation with the users in very natural normal language

through m e s s a g e applications, mobile applications, websites or

telephones.

• Chat bot is a most advanced for communicating between

h u m a n and machines.

• In general chat bot represents the natural evolution of questions

and answers.

• Theses chat bots are virtual assistant tools and also known as

chatterbot.

• It is an example of natural language processing. This is used in

the18,
February mobile
2025 applications and web
School applications.
of Computing
Importance of chatbot
• Chatbot application is the interaction between people and

services, enhance the customers. Chatbots offers the company

to improve the new customers. It gives the rapid answers.

• User request analysis is the first task the chatbot will perform

then it analyses the speech of human and then identify the user

intentions and returns the response.

• The chatbot need to provide the relent information to the user

based on his intention. The given response will be generic,

predefined, text is retrieved from knowledge.

Functions of Chatbot
F U N C T I O N S O F C H AT B O T S :

1) Coverts speech to text

2) Recognise the language and translates

3) Text is analysed

4) Content modification

• In 2019, chatbots are blasting with new APIs from the

popular applications like Instagram, WhatsApp,
Google RCS.

• Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says that within 10 years

Februaryevery
18, 2025 brand will have
Schoolits own digital assistants.

Literature Survey
• The survey on artificial intelligence using chatbot works on various
purposes and makes human life easier in daily requirements. By
Chatbot research papers we concluded that they are very useful in
various forms
like,communication,agriculture,medical,ecommerce,banking etc.
• FarmChat: A Conversational Agent to Answer Farmer Queries The
researchers developed a knowledge base for potato farming using
the KCC dataset and information collected from formative
interviews with smallholder farmers and agri-experts. For each of
the identified topics, they asked the two agri-experts (who
participated in the Formative Study) to provide examples of typical
farmer questions, the follow-up questions that they would ask in
order
February to understand
18, 2025 the problem, and the final advice they would
School of Computing
Literature Survey
• All such conversations was added to the IBM Watson
Conversation dialogue flow, and the informational advice was
included in the FarmChat knowledge base. In the current
version, the knowledge base is a SQL database consisting of
four tables, one for each of the topics they identified above.
• AgronomoBot-a smart answering Chatbot applied to
agricultural sensor networks:For agricultural purposes, it is
important that the data about field conditions, such as air and
soil temperature, air relative humidity, soil moisture, rainfall,
wind speed and other relevant variables, be rapid and easily
available for use by farm management systems, by specialists,
or the farmer itself in decision-making processes.

Literature Survey
AgronomoBot was developed focused on the search and display of
data acquired from a Wireless Sensor Network deployed on a
vineyard. It is based on Telegram Bot API and is able to access
information collected by echo field sensors, bringing it back to a
user through interaction over the Telegram application. The IBM
Watson cognition services platform was also used for improving
the user experience by enabling the use of natural language
during the conversation experience, providing intention detection.
Further developments are planned for AgronomoBot, such as the
expansion to other messaging platforms, the implementation of
speech communication capacity, image classification and
continuous data analysis.
February 18, 2025 School of Computing
Analysis
• It is hoped that with analytical capacity over the mass of
available data, it becomes possible to work towards the
prevention of harmful situations to agricultural productions,
early detection of diseases in crops, energy and water
waste reduction, and advanced management capabilities
for the farmer.

Objectives

• This work aims to implement, as a proof of concept, a

Chatbot that promotes remote interaction of the user to the

wine production environment using natural language, in

order to In this sense the Telegram API Bot was used

together with IBM Watson Conversation, providing support

for data acquisition from an eKo WSN deployed on a vineyard

• H O W IT W O R K S :
There are two tasks for chatbots
1) User request analysis
2) Returning the response
February 18, 2025 School of Computing
Objectives
•Chatbots are used for the farmers, as these are conversational
virtual assistance which are directly communicated with the
end users. The chatbots which are powered by AI using
machine learning techniques, understand the natural language
and interact with the users in a personal way.
•It is still in the early days for farmers, but it is mostly used in travel,

retail, media. Agriculture can use the emerging technologies which

could be useful for interaction with farmers, they can get quick correct
response and gets advice and recommendations about the problem.

Farmers Benifits
1)Farmers gets benefited by this chatbots, as this is
assisting the farmers about problems and providing the
solutions.

2)It is developed by using AI and natural language

processing, so the farmer normal language is identified.

3)Weather conditions can be known, by that they can plan

when to cultivate.
4) Sometimes, one farmers question can be known by
another farmer, so he can help in that.
5)Pests and weed control will be there, because they are
going to get a good solution

Description of Software for Implementation

We propose a solution of chatbot which is interactive for the farmers and

easy to answer their queries in a effective manner
The Workflow starts with the hello message reply by the bot and queries
wil be asked by farmers in which the possible solution will be listed out
based on the trained dataset which we give for training

Chatbot basic features (answering queries related to following)
• Weather
• Nutrient Management,
• Government Schemes,
• Market Information
• Providing information about the seeds,
• planting materials,
• field information and
• cultural practices

Conclusion
Chatbots can help the farmers in ma n y ways a s it is
conversational application where it identifies the natural language
of human and gives u s the response. Now is become started of
using the chatbots for the agriculture it in few days it is going to
become a trend. It is very helpful for illiterate farmers. Finally, the
chatbots are pretty much useful for farmers.
