Fibonacci
Fibonacci sequence was
introduced to the
Western world by
Leonardo of Pisa, an
Italian mathematician,
who is commonly known
as Fibonacci.
called Liber Abaci (The Book of
Calculation), which introduced the
sequence while solving a problem about
rabbit population growth.

Activity: "Golden Ratio Digital Collage"
Objective:
To design a digital collage using the Golden Ratio diagram,
demonstrating an understanding of its mathematical and
artistic applications. Students will create their design digitally,
print the final output, and submit both the soft copy (digital
file) and hard copy (printed version).
Activity: "Golden Ratio Digital Collage"
Materials Needed:
• Graphic Design Software: Canva, Photoshop, PowerPoint,
Google Drawings, Figma, or any preferred design tool.
• Golden Ratio Grid Template (Fibonacci rectangles or spirals –
provided or created by students).
• Digital Images or Graphics: Personal photos
• Computer or Tablet: For digital editing and designing.
• Printer: To produce a high-quality printed version of the final
design.
Activity: "Golden Ratio Digital Collage"
Instructions:
• Print the final digital collage on high-quality paper (A4 or preferred size).
• Submit both the printed version and the soft copy (via GC).
• Include a short written explanation describing how the Golden Ratio was
applied in your design.
