IMPLICATIONS OF
THE RIGHT
UNDERSTANDING
If we have the right understanding
then we can be happy in ourselves
and work to, have fulfilling
relationships with humans and
mutual prosperity with nature. If we
do not have the right understanding,
then we have problems. Thus, our
happiness depends on the fulfillment
of these three basic requirements.

• Artistic-Value: The

(Right Utilization).
UNIVERSAL VALUES
RIGHTLY EMERGING FROM
THE RIGHT
UNDERSTANDING
There is an innate harmony and
orderliness in the existence. Human
beings just need to understand it (not
create). This Right Understanding of the
harmony helps in inculcating the
universal values. The Universal Values
are the truths of existence and are always
there. They should not be enforced
through fear (bhaya), greed (pralobhana)
or blind faith/belief (astha). The values
are naturally acceptable and there is no
need for Imposition or enforcement.
Values: desirable or useful qualities in a person
Moral Values: the relative values that give us protection and respect if used
correctly.
ETHICAL

BASIS FOR THE HOLISTIC
ALTERNATIVE TOWARDS
UNIVERSAL HUMAN ORDER
The right understanding prepares us for
moving towards the 'holistic alternative'
(universal human order, Swarajya) which
will be sustainable as well as conducive
to fulfill the basic human aspirations for
all human beings. It will be a mode of
living that is self-satisfying, people-
friendly, and eco-friendly.

VISION FOR THE
HOLISTIC
ALTERNATIVE
The words 'holism' and 'holistic' come
from the Greek word “holos” that means
“completely”. Within the holistic vision
man is seen as a unity of body and mind.
This unit has physical, mental,
emotional, social and spiritual aspects
that are in continuous interaction with
each other. Holism is related to
complexity.
Vision of Holistic Alternative = choosing
to deal with the whole rather than with
individual units.
Identifying Comprehensive Human Goal.
Humanistic Education.
Humanistic Constitution.
BASIS FOR HUMANISTIC
EDUCATION AND
HUMANISTIC
CONSTITUTION
Humanistic teachers believe that
students will be motivated to learn a
subject if it's something they need
and want to know. The goal of
education should be to foster
students' desire to learn and teach
them how to learn. Students should
be self-motivated in their studies and
desire to learn on their own.
The humanistic constitution
mentions the set of rules that human
beings must and should follow. It
ensures the coordination and mutual
fulfillment in the human beings that
order together with other orders.
Universal Human
Order and its
Implications
Universal human order
(sarvabhatima vyavastha)
is a feeling of being
related to every unit
including human beings
and other entities of
nature. Having understood
the comprehensive human
goal, we are able to be in
harmony not only with
human beings, but also
with the rest of the nature.
Professional Ethics in
the Light of Right
Understanding
Any profession is a channel for
participation by human beings
in the larger order in pursuance
of comprehensive human goal.
In the process one can
contribute towards the
livelihood of one's family and
participate in the larger order
constituting the society and the
Profession - in the nature around.

Ensuring Competence in
Professional Ethics
Ethical competence contain components such as the capability to
identify ethical problems, knowledge about the ethical and moral
aspects of care, reflection on one's own knowledge and actions,
and the ability to make wise choices and carefully manage
ethically challenging work situations.
tions and
Dilemma
The contradictions and dilemmas in profession exist due
to the prevailing world view, in which wealth
maximization is perceived to be prime objective. In this
s and
case, the other people must be exploited to gain
affluence and there is no possibility of mutual fulfillment
in a sustainable way.

Is the
Transition
too Difficult?
It is often said that the
vision for holistic alternative
is idealistic and very difficult
to achieve. But it is a wrong
notion. Even small steps
towards right understanding
are very soothing, mutually
fulfilling and confidence
giving. The more we explore
within ourselves, the more
we develop the
understanding and
realization for the need of
the holistic alternatives.
To ensure continuous happiness
and prosperity in the human
order, the transition to human
consciousness is required. To bring
about this transition towards the
holistic alternative, it is necessary
to create mass awareness and

facilitate widespread humanistic
education. Also, extensive
research must be done to evolve
and implement holistic
technologies and systems. It is
also necessary to make
appropriate amendments in the
policies, programs and social
systems to facilitate the
transition.
