Bus terminal cum commercial complex is a hybrid facility that combines public transportation services with
commercial retail spaces. This type of model addresses the growing need for efficient urban transit solution
while promoting economic activity and accessibility by integrating these functions.

Functional Requirements:
Integrating Bus Terminal and
Commercial Spaces
Terminal Operations
Efficient boarding and alighting, passenger waiting areas,
ticketing, luggage handling, and accessibility for all are
crucial.

Retail and Food Court


A variety of retail outlets, food stalls, and amenities should be
integrated within the terminal to create a vibrant commercial
space.

Signage and Navigation


Clear and intuitive signage is essential for easy navigation
within the terminal and commercial areas.

parts of Maharashtra

buses at walking distance of 20-25 meters away from the

SWARGATE bus terminal Pune
PURPOSE
I. Has one of the best site context in the crowded area of
pune
II. Location of site is connects many road routes in different
parts of western maharashtra
III. Has connectivity like metro station at walking distance of
40-50 meters away from the site
