Pentium to I9
“one of the most reliable and powerful
processers”
Introduction
Welcome to the journey of computer
processors! In this presentation, we will
explore the evolution of processors
from Pentium to i9 and how apple beat
their competition to overcome the Intel
with Apple silicon. Discover how these
powerful chips have shaped the world
of computing, revolutionizing speed,
performance, and efficiency.
Pentium: The Beginning

The Pentium processor marked a significant

milestone in computing history. Introduced by
Intel in 1993, it brought improved
performance and multimedia capabilities
to personal computers. With clock speeds
ranging from 60 to 200 MHz, Pentium set the
stage for future advancements in processor
technology.

Core Series: Revolutionizing
Power
The Core series processors, launched
in 2006, brought a new level of
performance to the market. With
multiple cores and hyper-threading,
these processors enabled
multitasking and increased overall
speed. The Core series set the
foundation for modern computing,
delivering a balance between power
and energy efficiency.

FOR WHOM IS THE PROCESSORS I3 TO I9 BEST FOR WHICH
CATEGORY OF PEOPLE?

● Intel Core i3: Basic users. Economic choice. Good for browsing the web,

using Microsoft Office, making video calls, and social networking. Not

for gamers or professionals.

● Intel Core i5: Intermediate users. Those who want a balance between

performance and price. Good for gaming if you buy a G processor or a

Q processor with a dedicated graphics processor.

● Intel Core i7: Power users. You multi-task with several windows open at

the same time, you run apps that require a lot of horsepower, and you

hate waiting for anything to load.

● Intel Core i9: The extreme performance tier is marketed for those that
From M1 To M2
“Apple Silicon, A New Era Of Computing”
A Story To Be Heard
“Apple is not holding back, M1”
A CHIP FROM THE FUTURE:

The M1 chip includes an 8-core CPU with four high-

performance cores and four high-efficiency cores. The high-
performance cores are designed to offer the best performance
for power-intensive single-threaded tasks. It rings up to 16GB of
superfast unified memory. This single pool of high‑bandwidth,
low‑latency memory allows apps to share data between the
CPU, GPU and Neural Engine efficiently — so everything you
do is fast and fluid.
“OUTRIGHT DOMINATION,M2”
“M2 Ultra is the world's most
powerful chip ever created for a
personal computer.”
As you might have guessed, performance is the main
difference between the M1 and M2 chips. For example, the M2
CPU is 18% faster than the M1, the GPU is 35% faster, and
the neural engine is 40% faster. There are other improvements
as well. The power-efficient performance of Apple silicon
allows M2 Max to quickly tackle graphics-intensive projects
while maintaining excellent battery life.

Intel vs Apple

outperformance of the m1

Why is Apple processors faster than Intel processors ?
There are other ways in which the M-series chips are
more efficient than Intel processors. Macs with Apple
chips have two kinds of processor cores: high-
performance and efficiency. Having two types of cores
ensures that background processes don’t slow down the
computer because there is always enough power
available for programs to run. For example, even the
fastest Intel-powered Mac might have experienced
slowdowns and performance drops if a system process
like iCloud, or the indexing of Photos or Spotlight, was
running in the background.
This is all great in theory, but in practice, benchmarks
prove that there is a leap in performance from Intel to
M1, and beyond. With Apples most powerful chip the M2
Max the specifications outmatch its competition and
continue to dominate. Although Intel’s newer i9 versions

THE GAMING REVOLUTION - RYZEN
Famous for greater multi-threaded
performance at the same price point
relative to Intel's Core processors.
Ryzen is a brand of multi-core x86-64 microprocessors
designed and marketed by AMD for desktop, mobile, server,
and embedded platforms based on the Zen microarchitecture.
It consists of central processing units (CPUs) marketed for
mainstream, enthusiast, server, and workstation segments and
accelerated processing units (APUs) marketed for mainstream
and entry-level segments and embedded systems
applications.
