ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
WHAT IS AI?
Artificial Intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence
processes by machines, especially computer systems.
These processes include learning (the acquisition of
information and rules for using the information), reasoning
(using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions),
and self-correction.
AI can be categorized into three main types:
1. Narrow or Weak AI (AI designed for a particular task).
2. General or Strong AI (AI with human-like intelligence and
abilities).
3. Artificial Superintelligence (AI surpassing human
FUTURE OF AI
AI is an ever-evolving field, and its future holds
advancements in quantum computing, more human-
like AI, and ethical considerations . Understanding
these fundamental concepts is a great starting point
for anyone interested in AI. AI is a dynamic and rapidly
evolving field, so staying up-to-date with the latest
developments is essential for those who want to work
in or with AI.
APPLICATION OF AI
AI is used in a wide range of applications, including
self-driving cars, healthcare diagnosis,
recommendation systems, and financial forecasting.
Machine Learning (ML)
 Machine Learning (ML) is a subset of artificial
intelligence (AI) that empowers computers to learn
from data and make predictions or decisions without
explicit programming. At its core, ML relies on data-
driven algorithms and models, which makes it
highly adaptable to a wide range of applications.
There are three primary types of ML: supervised,
unsupervised, and reinforcement learning,
each suited to different tasks.
 ML leverages data to make predictions, automate
tasks, and uncover patterns that may not be
apparent through traditional programming. It
streamlines decision-making, increases efficiency,
and enhances the user experience. As ML continues
to evolve, it promises even more innovative
solutions to complex problems across various
domains.
TYPES OF MODELS
There are various types of machine learning models,
including regression, classification, clustering, and
more.
1. DESCRIPTIVE.
2. PRESCIPTIVE.
3. PREDICTIVE.

LIBRARIES AND FRAMEWORKS
Machine learning is made more accessible by libraries
and frameworks like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and
PyTorch, which provide tools and pre-implemented
algorithms.
APPLICATIONS
Machine Learning (ML) has found diverse and
transformative applications across numerous
industries, demonstrating its potential to enhance
decision-making, automate processes, and extract
valuable insights from data.
 Speech Recognition
 Image Classification
 Healthcare Diagnosis
 Stock Market Prediction
 Facial Recognition
DEEP LEARNING
WHAT IS DEEP LEARNING?
Deep learning is a subfield of machine learning that
focuses on neural networks with multiple layers (deep
neural networks). These networks are capable of
learning complex patterns and representations from
data.
LSTM AND GRU

Long Short-Term Memory

(LSTM).
Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU).

LSTM and GRU are specialized RNN

architectures that can capture long-
range dependencies in sequential
data.
FRAMEWORKS
Deep learning is made accessible by
frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras,
which provide tools and pre-implemented
architectures.
PYTHON
Python is a versatile and widely-used
programming language, known for its simplicity
and readability. It is a popular choice for
machine learning due to its extensive libraries
and frameworks tailored for data analysis and
model development.
WHY LEARN PYTHON?
Python provides many useful features to the programmer.
Easy to use and Learn: Python has a simple syntax, unlike traditional
languages like C, C++, Java, etc., making it easy for beginners to learn.
Expressive Language: It allows complex concepts in few lines of code or
reduces Developer's Time.
Interpreted Language: Python does not require compilation, allowing rapid
development and testing. It uses Interpreter instead of Compiler.
Object-Oriented Language: It supports object-oriented programming,
making writing reusable and modular code easy.
Open Source Language: Python is open source and free to use, distribute
and modify.
Extensible: Python can be extended with modules written in C, C++, or
other languages.
Learn Standard Library: Python's standard library contains many modules
and functions that can be used for various tasks, such as string manipulation,
web programming, and more.
GUI Programming Support: Python provides several GUI frameworks, such
as Tkinter
OOPS IN PYTHON
Classes and Objects - Python classes are the blueprints of the
Object. An object is a collection of data and methods that act on
the data.
Inheritance - An inheritance is a technique where one class
inherits the properties of other classes.
Constructor - Python provides a special method __init__() which
is known as a constructor. This method is automatically called
when an object is instantiated.
Data Member - A variable that holds data associated with a
class and its objects.
Polymorphism - Polymorphism is a concept where an object can
take many forms. In Python, polymorphism can be achieved
through method overloading and method overriding.
Method Overloading - In Python, method overloading is
achieved through default arguments, where a method can be
defined with multiple parameters. The default values are used if
some parameters are not passed while calling the method.
Method Overriding - Method overriding is a concept where a
subclass implements a method already defined in its superclass.
STATISTICS
Statistics is a cornerstone of machine learning (ML),
serving as the backbone of data analysis, modeling,
and inference in the field. At the core of this
relationship is the use of statistical techniques to
understand and manipulate data effectively.
Descriptive statistics, such as measures of central
tendency and dispersion, enable initial data
exploration and summary, providing valuable insights
into datasets during the preprocessing phase.
Descriptive statistics in machine
learning involve summarizing
DESCRIPTIV datasets. Measures of central
E tendency, like mean, median, and
mode, provide values, aiding
feature engineering.

that deals with modeling and

randomness. It serves as a
foundational framework for many
ML algorithms and applications.
SAMPLING sampling is the process of
selecting a subset of data points
