Corruption 41 Members of
Malang DPRD
Liputan6.com, Jakarta - The rate of government of Malang City, East
Java, is threatened with paralysis. How not, 41 out of 45 policy-
making members based in the Malang DPRD building were involved
in bribery cases in the APBD Amendments to the Malang City
Government in 2015.

Now the residents in the Malang DPRD Office have only four people
left. They are Subur Triono (PAN), Priyatmoko Oetomo (PDI-P),
Abdulrahman (PKB), and Tutuk Haryani (PDI-P).

the Malang City APBD-P bribery case was sticking out after the
Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched City Hall and the
Malang DPRD Building, in August 2017 ago.

Wicaksono, the first person to be detained in November 2017. He was
sentenced to 5 years in prison at the Corruption Court in Surabaya.
This case then dragged the Mayor of Malang for the period 2013-
2018 .Moch Anton and former Head of PUPR Office Djarot Edi S.
Each was sentenced to 2 and 2 years and 8 months in prison.

The anti-meat institution found a connection between the


executive and the legislature to smooth the project budget.

In total there were 41 of the 45 members of the Malang DPRD


who are now arrested by the KPK regarding the APBD-P of the
2015 budget year. The seats of the esteemed councils now leave
four members.

The arrest of the people's representatives caused the


government wheel in the city of Malang to stop temporarily. The
agenda for discussion of the 2018 Amendment to the APBD, the
2019 APBD draft and the ratification of a number of regional
regulations cannot be continued.
