TEAM BUILDING

GOOD TEAM WORK IS ABOUT

EACH PLAYER LOOKING AFTER
HIS OWN GAME AND HAVING
SOMETHING LEFT FOR HIS
TEAM MATES.
1. Knowing the club’s goal
The coach should know the club’s goal wh
en taking over a team.

2. Knowing the players

Starting point will be knowing the player’s
present potential.
3. Quality of the individual
Nowadays, the game is much faster with the
players needing to make decisions in limited
space and time and his technical ability is high
being able to execute moves precisely with pace
and accuracy.
4. Primary tasks form the foundation

All the players have clear idea of their roles

and responsibilities in the primary tasks in the
three moments of play:possession of ball, loss
of ball possession, transition
5. Organisation of team
In the selection of players, the coach has to decide the be
st condition for positioning and how the players are able t
o co-operate and operate as a pair, in groups and finally a
s a team.

6. Integration of players into team play

The players should understand the teams overall playing

policy and be able to integrate into a cohesive unit.
7. Discipline
The coach has to create the right framework

8. Communication
Each training session is a form of
communication.Players must talk to each other
spontaneously and genuine dialogue between
the coach and the players must exist.
9. Team spirit
The individual members need to truly integrate
so that the team functions as a single spirit

“that raises performance to heights that were

unimaginable when they started as desperate
individuals”(Sir Alex Ferguson, 2006)
CONCLUSION 결론
Why do some clubs still fail when they have
the services of brilliant individuals?

Perhaps, the answer lies with football being a

team sport whereby the best teams stand out
because they are teams.
