Objectives :-

Trees have played an essential role in building up humankind and the development of

human civilization over the Earth. They have been serving human needs since the time

immemorial. Trees provide us grains, herbs, fruits, flowers, fuels, and wood to build

houses. One of the prominent contributions of trees is that it provides oxygen to humankind

to breathe in. It helps in cleaning the air, prevent pollution, manage water runoff, and

prevent soil erosion and help in balancing the environment.

There was a time when humans used to wear clothes made of the bark of trees, eats fruit

and flowers. Eventually, they learn to make weapons from wooden branches and started

hunting for their food. Hence, trees are worshiped in India and cutting if trees are

considered ill. But today, due to industrialization and urbanization, trees are rapidly cut. We

believe it as our growth in society, but the reality is something opposite to what we assume.

Today, cities are becoming a concrete jungle surrounded by sky-touching architectures and

factories. Due to deforestation, the probability of land degradation, and drastic climatic

changes, some animal species have come to an end.
