    The American University of
    Armenia
    The American University of
    Armenia (AUA) is a private,
    independent university located
    in Yerevan, Armenia. It was
    established in 1991 in
    partnership with the University
    of California and the Armenian
    General Benevolent Union
    (AGBU), offering a Western-style
    education that promotes a
