ABSTRACT

The screenless display which is an emerging new technology, has become a

good prospect in the near future for a wide range of applications. As the name
implies it deals with the display of several things without the use of screens
using projector. It involves the following 3 different working principles. The
visual image, virtual retinal display, synaptic interface.
Now we are going to know what is screenless display and it’s applications.

INTRODUCTION

 Screenless display is the present evolving technology in the field of the

computer-enhanced technologies.
 Screen less display technology has the main aim of displaying (or)
transmitting the information without any help of the screen (or) the projector.
LITERATURE REVIEW

 Screenless display was first introduced by the mobile phone named OWASYS 2CC.
 Google glass and cardboard virtual reality use the concept of screenless display.

WHAT IS SCREENLESS DISPLAY ?

 It is a system of displaying information/data though an electronic video

source without using screen at all.

INTERFACE
APPLICATIONS
 Screenless displays can be used in automotive heads-up displays (HUDS).
 Screenless displays can provide patients and doctors with information such
as medical images, treatment plans, and patient records.
 Screenless displays can provide workers with information such as machine
instructions, safety warnings, and production data.
 Screenless displays offer realistic training environments for fields such as
aviation, medicine, and military.
ADVANTAGES

 They can help solve problems with miniaturization in modern communication

devices.
 It requires light weight hardware.
 It provides better portability.
 Less Power requirement.
 They eliminate need for bulky screens.
 Positive and better contrast images are formed.
 It has ability to present far point images.
LIMITATIONS

 The image may only appear focused if the user is at a specific depth.
 Screenless displays can be expensive.
 Screenless displays rely on hardware, which can lead to issues if components
fail.
 The screen of a screenless display may cover a limited area.
FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS

 Advances in technology are leading to higher resolution and brighter images,

making screenless displays more realistic and visually appealing.
 Smaller and more portable screenless displays are being developed, making
them more suitable for personal and mobile applications.
 New interaction methods, such as gesture recognition, haptic feedback, and
brain-computer interfaces, are being explored to enhance user experiences.
 Screenless displays are being combined with artificial intelligence to create
personalized and interactive experiences.
CONCLUSION

 Screenless displays are an emerging technology with the potential to

revolutionize visual communication and enhance our interactions with digital
content. The future of screenless displays looks promising, with potential
applications across various industries and a wide range of uses.
