* Suchana is a software suite that

allows you to communicate within an organization via the worlds most ambiguous communication platform - SMS. SMS.

*A Full Suite

* Cost effective * No need for any software to be installed. * Real time nature helps greatly while disseminating

time sensitive information. * Communication is delivered passively i.e. a user does not have to make any effort to check whether there is any new message.

thanks to effective communication.

Because the architecture is so flexible, Suchana can be easily implemented inside

Educational Institutions Corporate Environments NGOs

*Flexible Architecture

* Existing services like Way2SMS or

160by2 impose a limit of not more than 140 characters.

* Suchana allows you to send

messages with a length of up to 450 characters.

* This gives you the freedom to send

a more detailed dispatch.

*Increased Character Limit

Easy to target a specific user group No need for any new software Easy to remember E.g. BEIT, TEIT, FEIT.

A server stores all the SMSes sent via the system. The admin can at any time check the SMSes. This leaves very little scope for non-repudiation. Users are shown the messages from the past week/month

*Suchana DataBank

Suchana, as a service is entirely voluntary. Users choose what groups they want to join. Because the groups are so well targeted, users receive very relevant information.

*Relevant Information

Sending an SMS via Suchana is an extremely simple procedure.

You just have to enter the 4 letter group keyword and the message.

<keyword><space><message> to Data Center number

Sender Screen

Receiver Screen

* Groups form the core of Suchana. * It is nothing but a set of similar users. * Every group will have a moderator(s) who
sends the message. e.g. Class Rep * Each group is represented by a 4 letter keyword. e.g. BEIT, TEIT

* Groups can be fused to form super groups. * This concept allows us to have more control while defining a
hierarchy.

* E.g. A group of teachers can be moderators of the IT super

group.

* Suchana comes pre-installed with

basic hierarchical templates for different types of organizations. with the approval of the stakeholders.

* Users are free to request formation of new groups * Administrator, after due consent of the stakeholders
creates a group via the ASP.net application.

*Admin front end *User front end *Databank

* This allows an administrator to completely

control all aspects of the system like creating new groups, assigning moderators, logs etc. * This will also control all processes related to sending and receiving messages through the GSM Modem. * This will be built on Microsoft ASP.net

* This allows users to register on the system. * Website has a thorough validation procedure

which authenticates every user. * User can update their profiles. E.g. If they get a new number. * Moderators can also send messages from the site. * This will be built in Microsoft ASP.net

* This will store all the information related to

the system.

* Both the website and the front end will share

the same database.

* It will be built on Microsoft SQL 2008

* Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 * .net Framework 2.0 or above * IIS Server * MS SQL 2005 or above * Windows XP/2000 or above.

* To keep costs at a minimum, we are using a

GSM cellphone that can be tethered/used as a modem.

* Intel Pentium 4/AMD Athlon 3000+ * 512 MB RAM or above.
