CREATING YOUR OWN IMPRESSIONIST
ARTWORK: IMPASTO
• Impasto –a color application
technique that commonly
used by impressionist
painter,the very heavy
application of paint to the
canvass (spatula or knife
instead of a paintbrush, and
sometimes even directly
squezzed from the tube.
ACTIVITY # 2: IMPASTO
• MATERIALS:
Oslo
paper,pencil,paintbrush,stick,paints(any
forms)
• PROCEDURE:
1.Decide a simple design for your artwork.
2.Sketch in the general design on your oslo
paper.
3.Apply color on your design,use IMPASTO
technique as possible.
4.Allow it dry thoroughly before handling or
displaying the finish artwork.
